And Then She Was--Day One
Courtlynn finally decided she wanted to meet all of her new friends and family, and she didn't waste any time. These pics were taken during the course of her first day. As you can tell from a few of the pics, she slept better than we did. but my favorite is the bright eyed, smiling picture that she gave for us all. This one was taken while she was being held by Grandma Pharris. I was talking to her last night and she told me that she was planning on staying in hiding for another three to four weeks before the grand reveal. Shelley and I appreciate all the prayers and well wishes during our exceedingly long labor and delivery process.

Dear Steve and Shelly,
I am so excited for you. She is just beautiful. I'm sorry you had such a hard time, but it looks like all the hard work paid off. I can't wait you hold little Courtlynn and give her a kiss. Let Jim and I know when we can come visit. Love you lots,
Sharon

Now that's a cute baby girl! Good work Shelley! Steve, I liked the Genesis reference in the title. Good incorporation of Biblical theming.
